About us

PIPx is the latest initiative from the StubbsGazette stable.

StubbsGazette – the publication – is one of the most recognised brands in the country and an indispensible information source for providers of credit. But there is much, much more to StubbsGazette the organisation.

StubbsGazette has always been at the forefront of technological innovations. We were the first online provider of credit information and the first information company to deliver data over the web. StubbsGazette is at the centre of Irish commerce, an automatic interface for debtors, creditors and other interested parties, so it’s only natural we would build a platform to support the recently introduced personal insolvency legislation.

James Treacy

CEO

James is the CEO of StubbsGazette. From simple beginnings in 1999 the company has grown to become an important element in the knowledge infrastructure of Irish business. Through working closely and effectively with Dun & Bradstreet in the early development years, opportunity arose in 2008 to acquire the StubbsGazette brand from D&B. The acquisition was completed successfully and James is now focused on developing the Stubbs brand and expanding the company’s range of products and services at home and abroad.

Greg Connell

Strategy & Compliance

Greg Connell is Managing Director of the Irish Fraud Bureau and a non-executive Director of StubbsGazette. He was formerly UK National Sales Director, Managing Director of Dun & Bradstreet Ireland and Hoovers UK, a leading on-line publisher of company information, which he acquired on behalf of D&B from the management team in 2004. Greg was previously European Finance Director of D&B International and he holds a number of non-executive directorships in the public interest and pensions sector, including Registry Trust Ltd, the England & Wales statutory register of Judgments, Orders & Fines.
